Launched in Kabul in 2014, CodeWeekend is the biggest community (more than 1,800 members) of software developers in Afghanistan. Members meet on a weekly basis in Kabul to participate in workshops. They also share and learn via online discussions. CodeWeekend has a Fellowship agreement with the Kabul chapter of the Founder’s Institute, the world’s largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program, helping aspiring founders build enduring technology companies.
