Lael Mohib – Director and Board of Trustee Member, Enabled Children Initiative

“The Afghan Professionals network (APn) is an excellent initiative by engaged, young Afghans across the globe working together to increase opportunities for young Afghans, through networking, skills building, and social welfare projects. The Enabled Children Initiative, a UK registered charity that supports disabled orphans and advocates for the rights of disabled orphans in Afghanistan, started off as a small fundraising project hosted by APn. Through the commitment and hard work of a dedicated and motivated team of volunteers at APn, the organization grew to a fully-fledged, registered UK charity, with expanded and improved services. APn recognizes everyday Afghan men and women who have made extraordinary contributions to their communities in the face of adversity.”

“APn is a remarkable and truly refreshing network for the Afghan community in London. APn’s charitable initiatives have helped children in Afghanistan. I have been very fortunate to be involved in many of the events held by APn and have benefited from their career development initiatives. I am very thankful to all APn members for their support and I hope to continue the relationship for many years to come.”
