Afghanistan is an open research and analysis centre studying Afghanistan and
related issues. Discourse Afghanistan recognises a deficiency in
quality evidence-based research and literature on Afghanistan, and aims to
build a library of reliable, unbiased and up-to-date information on
Afghanistan. Discourse Afghanistan offers a platform from which to share and
access evidence-based research about Afghanistan; from its history, culture and
literature to its geography, scientific and technological developments.
We welcome and publish articles and papers on technical matters relating to Afghanistan. The articles should, ideally, be original and not published elsewhere. Academics, professionals and students across all disciplines are invited to submit original articles for publication on this website. Articles may come in the form of primary research, reviews, news analysis, viewpoints or creative writing, and be written in either English, Pashto or Dari. Video and audio-format submissions may also be considered.
Also as part of Discourse Afghanistan initiative, we plan to hold seminars, conferences and debates to generate dialogue and discussions on published and prospective works related to Afghanistan. The initiative supports efforts to enhance public and professional knowledge and understanding of Afghanistan and its people.
